A high-speed boat crash on Canandaigua Lake Saturday evening left 41-year-old Benjamin Cramer of Canandaigua injured after his vessel struck the shoreline and a tree. Witnesses reported the crash just before 8 p.m., prompting a water-access-only emergency response. Cramer was found conscious and transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, as officials reminded boaters to follow speed limits during the busy summer season.
