National Weather Service says preliminary investigation shows tornado ripped through Java
A preliminary survey of damage conducted by the National Weather Service indicates that damage in the town of Java is consistent with an EF-2 tornado.

Cayuga, Cortland, and Seneca counties report wind damage after thunderstorms on Thursday
However, Wyoming County wasn't the only one to suffer damage as result of those storms yesterday. Communities in Cortland, Cayuga, and Seneca counties also reported damage.
