Hill Cumorah shooting investigation continues in Palmyra, Wayne County
A 23-year-old Fairport man was arrested following a shooting at a local landmark. No injuries were reported, but investigators say it’s a situation that could have turned out much worse. Visitors and residents at Hill Cumorah were sheltered in place until State Police, Ontario County and Wayne County SWAT teams evacuated them to another location as it unfolded late-Wednesday.
