North Seneca ambulance carrying critical patient struck by SUV in Seneca Falls
Around 1:09 p.m. the Seneca County 911 Center was alerted by North Seneca that an ambulance transporting a patient to Geneva General Hospital had been involved in a crash at the intersection of State Route 5 and State Route 414. Turns out, the driver of an SUV failed to stop at the intersection when the ambulance was passing through causing the crash.
Yates County rejects proposal to add new legislator
The Legislature will remain a 14-seat body instead of increasing its capacity to 15 legislators, announced the board on Monday, April 11. On that same day, the board agreed to redraw legislative district lines so each legislator represents roughly the same number of voters.

A 35-year-old Geneva man has been arrested after a stabbing in the town of Phelps on March 25. According to a news release Lester Valentin Rivera, 35, of Geneva was charged with a felony count of assault after a stabbing at a residence in Phelps.

Rangers responded with local first responders, who stabilized the person’s leg, and transported them to another location for ambulance transport.
U.S. Rep. Katko sanctioned by Russia, remains committed to supporting Ukraine
