WATERLOO GIRLS WIN FEDERATION CHAMPIONSHIP
The Waterloo Tigers closed out an unbelievable season on Sunday afternoon, winning the New York State Class B Federation Championship, 68-35, over the Preston Panthers at Shenendehowa High School. Natalie Disanto scored a game-high 24 points to lead Waterloo. Morgan Caraballo netted 16 points, while Jazzmyn Lewis added eight. Waterloo finished the season with a 28-1 record.
HOBART HOCKEY CAPTURES FIRST NATIONAL TITLE
For the first time in school history, the Hobart hockey team has captured a National Championship. The second-ranked Statesmen edged third-ranked Adrian 3-2 in overtime on Sunday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena on the campus of Endicott College.
