Massive structure fire destroys building at Williamson farm
Witnesses say a barn was deemed a complete loss after a fire on Saturday on Kenyon Road in Williamson. Some livestock was lost in the blaze, which was apparently mostly contained to one structure. First responders indicated that there may have been some explosions prior to their arrival.
Two in custody after pursuit from Wayne County into Auburn wanted on multiple felony charges
A vehicle pursuit initiated by the New York State Police (NYSP) in Wayne County led the Auburn Police Department on a dangerous chase around 11 a.m. Friday, August 11.
The vehicle, driven by Kevin Huntington Jr. of Red Creek, NY, with a 17-year-old passenger, had been reported stolen from Auburn. Both are believed to be linked to multiple felony offenses across Wayne and Cayuga Counties, and Auburn.
The chase intensified as Huntington Jr. repeatedly swerved at Auburn Police officers before eventually crashing the vehicle. Following a brief on-foot pursuit, both suspects were apprehended.

David Tulley, the owner of I’m Stuck, has taken out a three-year lease on a billboard atop his downtown Auburn cannabis business location after the state’s Office of Cannabis Management shut down eight of his shops for unlicensed cannabis sales and alleged sales to minors.
