Gov. Hochul urges enactment of Equal Rights Amendment at 175th anniversary of Seneca Falls Convention
Governor Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James were in Seneca Falls on Friday for the Women’s March ERA Rally. Hochul marked the 175th anniversary for the historic Seneca Falls Convention by delivering remarks and calling for the Equal Rights Amendment. “It is long overdue. We’ve been talking about the ERA since I was a kid, practically. Time is up. We’ve waited too long for those basic rights to be enshrined in our constitution,” she said.
