Sheriff Schenck: Fatal crash claims two lives in Cayuga County
A tragic two-vehicle crash in the Town of Ira resulted in two fatalities on Thursday evening. The incident occurred around 6:25 PM on Ira Hill Road near Farnam Road.
WHAT’S THE LATEST FROM IRA:
Multiple departments and first responders were dispatched to the scene after the accident was called in to 911.
Two died and a third was seriously injured in the wreck.
The road was closed for two hours as first responders investigated. Anyone with information is asked to call 315-253-1222, as the investigation remains active.
