The Cayuga Nation has recently expanded its territorial holdings by acquiring a 40-acre parcel located at 1044 Clark Street Road in the Town of Aurelius. The purchase is in close proximity to the Finger Lakes Drive-In. The Nation says the drive-in has encroached onto its newly acquired land. Investigations revealed that part of the drive-in, including its main entrance, several parking spots, and a portion of the movie screen, are situated on the Nation’s property. [Keep Reading]

Deputies say two people were hospitalized after a personal injury crash at the intersection of State Route 332 and Airport Road in Canandaigua on January 21. New York State American Legion leadership to visit Seneca County
The New York State American Legion’s top leadership, including Department Commander Timothy Collmer, Auxiliary President Karen St. Hilaire, and Detachment Commander Peter DeAngelis, will visit Seneca County this Friday. Their itinerary includes a lunch at Kirk-Casey American Legion Post 366 in Seneca Falls, tours of local historical sites, and a dinner meeting with the Seneca County American Legion membership. This visit is part of Commander Collmer’s statewide initiative to promote veteran advocacy and community involvement during his tenure.
