The future of the Penn Yan Diner is still very much uncertain. The historic Penn Yan Diner, one of the few operational dining cars left in the U.S., was badly damaged by a fire on May 21. A GoFundMe campaign has raised over $11,000 to help rebuild the beloved community landmark.
