In the early hours of Friday morning, an alarming situation unfolded at the Fastrac gas station on Pulteney Street just outside Corning. First responders, including over a dozen police officers, firefighters, and paramedics, rushed to the scene following reports of a woman, armed with a knife, setting fire to the exterior of the convenience store and making threats towards bystanders.
