Ontario County early voting sees strong turnout with high mail ballot returns
With early voting underway for the 2024 General Election, the Ontario County Board of Elections reports a robust turnout among registered voters, with significant engagement in both in-person early voting and mail-in ballots. As of Halloween, 12,237 residents have participated in early voting at sites in Canandaigua, Geneva, and Victor, signaling high interest in this year’s election.

As Election Day approaches, mental health experts are advising voters on ways to handle pre- and post-election anxiety, with many Americans feeling stressed about the outcome of the 2024 presidential campaign. A recent poll by The Associated Press and the National Opinion Research Center found that about seven in 10 Americans report anxiety or frustration over the election.
