Skipper’s Landing on Sodus Bay reopens with new owners
After closing its doors earlier this year, the beloved bayside restaurant, Skipper’s Landing on the eastern shore of Sodus Bay, has reopened under the new ownership of Abby and Josh Hogan. The location, celebrated for its captivating views and seafood offerings, boasts an outdoor deck featuring a tiki bar and fire pit.
Authorities to give update at press conference about missing Ithaca man at center of abduction probe
Authorities from the New York State Police and the City of Ithaca Police Department are set to deliver a significant update on the case of Thomas Rath, a 33-year-old individual who went missing 14 weeks ago. The conference will take place at state police headquarters in Ithaca at 11 a.m. We’ll have updates at the link below!
Rollercoaster ride of temperatures this week, but early-September looks warm
The Finger Lakes region is set to experience fluctuating temperatures and varying chances of rain throughout the week. Temperatures are expected to drop mid-week, with highs only in the upper 60s to low 70s due to northerly winds potentially triggering lake-enhanced showers. But things will rebound, and head toward a warmer stretch that should last into next week.
