Warmer fall forecasted across Upstate New York: What does that mean?
Those in New York’s Southern Tier, Western New York, and northern Pennsylvania can anticipate a warmer fall season than usual, according to early predictions from the National Weather Service and national climate analysts. Forecasters say there’s an 80% likelihood of “near or above average temperatures” throughout the fall, which encompasses a range of outdoor activities. However, while the summer saw above-average rainfall in the region, predictions for fall precipitation remain uncertain, with no strong indications pointing either way.
