Latest on Seneca Falls Tops shooting: SFPD says Waterloo man arrested after shooting
The Seneca Falls Police Department provided an update late-Sunday after the shooting at a grocery store during the mid-afternoon hours. One person was shot, and witnesses watched as several people were taken into custody. However, a 35-year-old Waterloo man was arrested for first-degree assault late-Monday as the investigation continues. The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Syracuse.

Canandaigua City officials are reviewing a request from the downtown Business Improvement District (BID) to change the zoning code to require a 2,000-foot separation between licensed cannabis retail dispensaries. Seneca County to get new visitors center in Tyre
Seneca County will soon have a new tourism-focused Visitors Center near Thruway Exit 41 in Tyre. The Seneca County Board of Supervisors and the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce have agreed to build the center as part of the Chamber’s new office at 1781 Route 318.
