NYCOM has reiterated its call for increased state funding for local governments in a letter to Gov. Hochul and legislative leaders. Highlighting the stagnant AIM funding, which has remained at about $715 million annually since 2012, the org says additional funds are needed to cover essential services such as police and fire. Originally scheduled for February 27 — it was delayed until February 29 due to redistricting issues. Once the legislature approved the new map, and Gov.
