GREAT NORTHERN MALL: A letter was sent out to tenants on October 27th indicating that Great Northern Mall would shut down permanently on November 20th. “I am writing you to let you know that Great Northern Mall will permanently close on November 20, 2022. Accordingly, Great Northern Mall Holding LLC, the owner of the mall, is hereby terminating your lease,” management wrote. “You will need to vacate your premises in the mall no later than November 20, 2022. HOCHUL THE UNDERDOG: A pair of new polls show Governor Kathy Hochul has a lead in his race against Rep. Lee Zeldin. However, that lead has been shrinking in recent weeks. “I’ve always said I was an underdog,” Hochul said on Friday to reporters. “I’ve been in the job a short time. I have a short, compressed period for people to get to know me. As I said on my first day in office, you may not know me, but I know you.” The comments came as a surprise to many, because of the voter enrollment advantage Democrats have in New York.
