Garage fire in Hopewell contained by deputies, no injuries reported
A garage fire broke out Sunday morning at a home on Johnson Road, but quick action by local deputies helped prevent the blaze from spreading to the rest of the property. Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies were first to arrive at the scene around 9 a.m. and used a garden hose to contain the flames until firefighters from Manchester and Shortsville arrived.
