Man hospitalized, 42-year-old jailed after Union Springs stabbing
A 42-year-old man is in stable condition after being stabbed multiple times during a confrontation Thursday night in Union Springs, according to Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. outside a building on Cayuga Street that houses apartments.

An 18-year-old Geneva man has been sentenced to jail time after admitting he sold fentanyl disguised as Percocet to a 16-year-old girl who later died from the drug. Cornell suspends fraternity amid investigation of reported sexual assault
The Cornell University Police Department (CUPD) says they received a report Friday from a victim who alleges they were sexually assaulted by multiple individuals and coerced into taking ketamine and other drugs at a residence in the 100 block of Edgemoor Lane on October 25 or early October 26.
