First responders in Wayne County spent several hours at the Wayne Middle School in Ontario, after a classroom caught fire. The blaze was contained to one room, and no injuries were reported, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time. [Read More]
Five Corning Community College students are facing serious charges after an alleged gang assault outside a dorm room. The students, who are also members of the basketball team, are accused of assaulting two people. Surveillance footage shows the students approaching the victims’ dorm before the incident. [Read More]
Authorities say a vacant home in Montezuma was heavily damaged after a structure fire early-Friday. The call came in a little before 2 a.m., according to first responders, who say no injuries were reported in battling the blaze. [Read More]
A fire on Bundy Ave. in the city of Auburn left a family without a home on Friday, too. First responders say a pet was rescued from the blaze, but a GoFundMe has been started for the victims. [Read More]
