The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Hopewell man following a hate crime investigation at FLCC. Joseph Goings, 20, of Hopewell was arrested for aggravated harassment as a hate crime after having sent messages to an individual – threatening physical harm. Tompkins Cortland Community College has seen a significant increase in student enrollment for the fourth consecutive semester, defying the downward trend experienced by community colleges across New York State during the COVID-19 pandemic.
