NEW OVERNIGHT: Authorities give update on serious Hopewell crash
Part of 5&20 was shut down for more than an hour in Ontario County as crews worked the scene of a serious two-car crash yesterday. A woman from Geneva was airlifted to a Rochester-area hospital, while two others were treated in Canandaigua, deputies said. The cause of the crash appears to have been one driver failing to slow.

Shares of Greenidge Generation Holdings LLC common stock have lost 30 percent of their value since the April 9 release of the company’s annual report, which warned investors about its precarious finances and costly environmental liabilities. “The company has historically incurred operating losses and negative cash flow from operations. The Waterloo School Board unanimously approved a tentative $49.8 million budget for the 2024-25 school year on Monday, maintaining the same level of spending as the current year. Despite no overall increase in spending, the proposed budget includes a 2% rise in the amount raised by taxes, totaling $13 million. [MORE]
Trumansburg Central School District has confirmed plans to reduce its workforce, eliminating seven teaching positions and nine other full-time roles due to financial constraints.
