Developer behind Trinity Episcopal Church backs out after delays
The developer behind the plan to convert the former Trinity Episcopal Church into a hotel, restaurant, and events facility has withdrawn from the project. Property owner Mark McGroarty announced he is selling the South Main Street property, which he purchased in 2022 for $340,000, according to new reporting by The Finger Lakes Times.

Authorities say a 52-year-old Farmington man was involved in a single-car rollover crash at the intersection of County Road 28 and Risser Road on Friday resulting in him being airlifted to a hospital in Rochester. Cayuga County is ending its financial support for the Cayuga Economic Development Agency (CEDA) and will redirect funding to the Cayuga County Development Corporation (CCDC). According to The Citizen, the County announced the $375,000 budgeted for economic development will now support CCDC, an entity established in 2002. [Read More]
