Among the anticipated actions, the board will consider a Home Rule Request related to Senate Bill No. S 8678 and Assembly Bill No. A 9360, proposing the eligibility of candidates for the County Attorney position from Seneca County or adjacent counties. The Auburn City Council recently began discussions for the 2024-25 budget, with the Auburn Police Department (APD) requesting over $9.1 million, an increase from the previous year’s $7.7 million.
