State Police are investigating an accident involving a motorcycle and a car that occurred in Victor on Saturday. The incident happened around 12:24 p.m. on West Main Street when a motorcycle collided with a car emerging from a Dunkin’ parking lot. [MORE]
A three-car accident in the town of Horseheads resulted in injuries to two children on Saturday. State Police from Horseheads reported to the scene at the intersection of Wygant Road and Ridge Road around 2:53 p.m. [MORE]

A new affordable housing project could be on the horizon at the Inlet Island in Ithaca, thanks to a proposal by two individuals. Announced on Wednesday the plan includes demolishing existing structures at 900-912 West State Street to make way for a sustainable, four-story building. [MORE]
The New York State Department of Transportation announced a public meeting regarding the replacement of the Route 34 bridge over the Seneca River in Brutus. The meeting will be held at Brutus Town Hall on Thursday, April 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. [MORE]
Tompkins County Whole Health announced that their program distributing free COVID-19 test kits ended on April 4, after providing over 275,000 kits since January 2022. The initiative, which distributed test kits through community libraries, municipal centers, and nonprofit agencies, aimed to mitigate the spread of the virus in the community. [MORE]

Troopers: Woman stole over $10K from employer in Wayne County
Lacy J. Youells, a former employee at LaValley Brothers Construction in Wolcott, was arrested on charges of grand larceny and identity theft after stealing $8,750 from the company. The theft, reported to state police on January 15, was discovered shortly after Youells left the company on January 11. She attempted to repay the stolen funds using a credit card opened fraudulently in the company owner’s name.
