CRISIS MODE: The Salvation Army in Canandaigua is urgently calling for community donations as its food pantry struggles to keep shelves stocked amid rising demand and funding uncertainties. Rising grocery prices and a reduction in funding from Foodlink, a key supplier, have further strained resources.
INDICTMENT: The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Williamson man following an investigation into alleged sexual abuse. Authorities say Richard O’Neil Jr., 22, was indicted by a Wayne County Grand Jury on several serious charges for incidents that occurred in 2022 and involved young family members.
COMMUNITY DAY: Keuka College’s annual Community Day was marked by optimism and celebration as President Amy Storey delivered a State of the College address brimming with good news. The event, held on Thursday in the Geiser Dining Commons, drew around 150 faculty and staff, including recently rehired facilities personnel.
