Lyons Structure Fire Displaces Several: Cause Under Investigation
Firefighters were called to an overnight blaze at the old Iroquois Hotel on Franklin Street in Lyons late-Friday. It’s unclear how much damage was done to the property, but the Red Cross was requested to the scene to help a number of adults and one child.

Ribbon Cutting at New Popeyes in Canandaigua Thursday
The Ontario County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting event for the new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at 3225 Route 364 on Thursday, June 27 at 10 a.m. Local officials, restaurant staff, and the public are invited. DJ Bobby Ellis from Charismatic Entertainment will play music from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Liberty Restaurants, which operates the new location, expressed excitement about joining the Canandaigua community.
