After three years of planning and debate, the Dunkin’ project in Geneva’s Ward 6 received approval from the city’s Planning Board on Monday, passing by a vote of 4-2. This decision paves the way for the development of a new Dunkin’ store at the “Gateway Project” location, situated at the northeast corner of Exchange and East North streets. [READ MORE]
Late Thursday night, a significant tractor-trailer fire erupted in the Town of Tyre, drawing a quick response from local fire departments. At around 11:18 p.m., units from the Clyde Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. A tractor-trailer was destroyed in the blaze. [WATCH VIDEO]

The Ovid Town Board is considering a one-year moratorium on the establishment or expansion of campgrounds within the town, prompted by redevelopment interests in two major properties, including the former Boy Scout Camp Babcock-Hovey and the vacant Willard Psychiatric Center. Morrissey’s OT tally sends Hobart to national semifinals
Hobart first-year defenseman Bauer Morrissey scored at the 15:17 mark of the fourth overtime to send the top-ranked Statesmen past 12th-ranked Curry 4-3. The victory secured Hobart a spot in the national semifinals. Hobart is now 26-2-1 on the season.
