NEW THIS AM: We’re following the latest on a violent crash in Cayuga Co.
Altogether four people were hospitalized after a violent one-car crash in the town of Mentz on Saturday. It happened around 1 p.m. in the area of State Street Road and Hayden Road. Just one car was involved, but two helicopters and several ambulances were necessary at the scene.

Authorities have identified the two drivers involved in a two-car accident Friday, but the man who caused the accident fled on foot and has not been located. According to a news release, on Friday around 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Boyce Road and Taylor Road in Canandaigua. [Read More]
