OFFICE BUILDING QUESTIONS: What’s next for the Cayuga County Office Building? The special meeting was held Thursday to discuss the future of the building that has been shut down since May.
PLAN COMING TOGETHER: Seneca County is moving closer to adopting a new 10-year Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP), marking significant progress since the last plan expired nearly 25 years ago. UPCOMING EVENT: Registration is now open for the “Managing Your Forest” workshop, hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extensions of Cayuga, Schuyler, and Seneca Counties. The event aims to help landowners effectively manage their forested lands and will feature a portable sawmill demonstration and educational sessions on stewardship plans and best management practices for small parcels.
NY-22 INCUMBENT TALKS: Republican Congressman Brandon Williams recently confirmed his endorsement from former President Donald Trump despite never having met or spoken with him. During an interview at the New York State Fair with CNYCentral he expressed admiration for Trump, describing him as a “disruptor” he wants to see back in the White House.
