Is the Lake’s Edge development in Geneva still on track?
The ambitious Lake’s Edge Seneca project in Geneva, encompassing a 113-room hotel and luxury townhomes, remains paused as developers work to secure financing. The Finger Lakes Times reports that a spokesperson for Rivers Edge Capital/Pine Ridge Construction, reaffirmed the commitment to the $25.2 million project despite no recent progress on the site and the recent removal of building materials sparking rumors of its demise. Developers have been communicating with concerned contractors and the community, explaining that the lumber was moved to prevent damage from continued exposure to the elements and not due to project cancellation.
