The move comes a few days after Democrats in the legislature rejected maps drawn by the state’s Independent Redistricting Commission. Aurora residents expressed mixed reactions during a public hearing on February 21 regarding proposed changes to the village’s zoning laws, specifically affecting a strip of lakeside property owned by Wells College.
