FARMINGTON SHOOTING: Investigators with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help after a road rage shooting in the town of Farmington. It happened just north of Rt. 96 late-Sunday. The victim was sent to Strong Hospital. [MORE]

GREENIDGE DISASTER: Greenidge Generation LLC reported a net loss of $23.1 million for the three months that ended Sept. 30 and sounded new warnings about its bleak financial condition in a regulatory filing late Monday. The company that operates a Bitcoin mining facility at its power plant on Seneca Lake also acknowledged a growing risk that the Nasdaq stock market will move to de-list its Class A common stock. AUBURN SHOOTING: Authorities say a Geneva man who was wanted in connection with an Auburn shooting was taken into custody by Seneca Falls police late last week. Zachariah McKoy, age 30, of Geneva was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department following an indictment warrant charging him with a felony count of criminal possession of a weapon and assault. The June shooting left one person hospitalized. [MORE]
FATAL CRASH IN WAYNE: Deputies say a fatal accident in Butler, Wayne County is under investigation. A 50-year-old was traveling east on Westbury Road when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Additional information, like what caused the crash, was not immediately available. [MORE]
UPDATE ON FATAL PLOW ACCIDENT: Police have identified the person who was struck-and-killed by a plow late-Friday. The accident happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Palmyra. [MORE]
