Macedon police chief had BAC three-times legal limit during crash near Gananda school
Macedon Police Chief Fabian Rivera faces an uncertain future after a DWI crash Monday morning near the Gananda school grounds. Reports indicate that the Chief’s BAC was more than three-times the legal limit in the crash, which happened a little after 8 a.m. He’s been charged with DWI as well as aggravated DWI. Town officials released a statement late-Monday, but provided no information about his future with the department.

Officials are saying repairs necessary at the Ontario County Landfill in the town of Seneca won’t cost taxpayers anything. While our newsroom hasn’t received an update on reports over the weekend that the County had either considered, or was considering a ‘state of emergency’ — County Administrator Chris DeBolt did speak with Rochester-area media — confirming the landslide wouldn’t cost taxpayers there.
