Auburn, Ithaca, and Newark get state money for important projects
Governor Kathy Hochul unveiled that $64.1 million has been allocated to 43 projects across New York through the Restore New York Communities Initiative. This program aims to eradicate blight, boost community revitalization, and foster new residential and economic opportunities statewide.

New York parents will receive checks in August
Low-income parents in New York will start receiving child tax credit checks by the end of August, Governor Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday. The state will distribute approximately $350 million in supplemental payments through the Empire State Child Credit program.
