Eastern Wayne EMS will shut down in November
Eastern Wayne Emergency Medical Services, which was formed in 2016 by consolidating ambulance services from five local towns, will end its operations this November due to financial difficulties. The agency, primarily staffed by volunteers, has struggled without government support, relying solely on revenue from billings.
