The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a devastating structure fire that destroyed a home in South Seneca. On Tuesday a large fire engulfed a residence on Brokaw Road in the town of Lodi resulting in an estimated loss of $50,000. Three dogs were lost in the fire, according to first responders. There were eight Wayne-Finger Lakes high school basketball games on Tuesday night. We were LIVE at Mynderse Academy for the showdown between the Mynderse and Marcus Whitman on the boys side, which saw the home team pull away at the end. However, HAC, Bloomfield, Wayne, Geneva, and Newark all secured wins on the boys side; along with East Rochester and Victor on the girls side of things. [Keep Reading]
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office gave an update on a personal injury crash that happened Monday night at the intersection of State Route 96 and 251. An SUV operated by Susan Carr, 55, of Victor was traveling east on Route 251 when a pickup truck operated by Courtney Bowser, 40, of Bloomfield was exiting a parking lot to head the same direction on Route 251. Macedon is going to have a new restaurant operating very soon. Hooligans Eastside Grill is set for a grand opening in mid-January at 1011 Pittsford-Palmyra Road. This marks the second location for the popular eatery, which has established a strong presence in Webster over the past two decades. The new restaurant is designed to accommodate nearly 200 guests, including a 40-seat bar and a 50-seat patio. [Keep Reading]
And finally, Cayuga Community College and Wells College have entered into a significant articulation agreement, enhancing the academic pathway for students pursuing Bachelor’s degrees. This collaboration was formalized at CCC’s Auburn campus, where the presidents of both institutions signed agreements to facilitate the transfer of CCC students in biology, business, and psychology programs to Wells College as juniors.
